What jump443 is
jump443 is an SSH jump host service. It forwards TCP connections from your SSH client to destination hosts you have configured in your account. It does not provide shell access, general-purpose proxying, or VPN functionality.
Acceptable use
You may use jump443 to:
- Tunnel SSH connections to servers you own or are authorized to access
- Forward other TCP traffic (e.g. HTTP, database connections) to your whitelisted hosts
You may not use jump443 to:
- Access servers you are not authorized to use
- Scan, probe, or attack third-party systems
- Relay traffic for others (no reselling or sub-letting)
- Circumvent security controls in violation of applicable law (e.g. bypassing court-ordered blocks)
- Transmit illegal content
Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination without refund.
Logging and cooperation
All connections through jump443 are logged. See our privacy policy for details on what is recorded.
We cooperate with law enforcement and with owners of destination servers who report abuse. If you use jump443 to access a server and that server's owner asks us who connected, we will tell them.
jump443 is not an anonymity tool. Do not use it expecting to hide your identity.
Accounts and billing
- One account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual may be merged or terminated.
- Trial accounts get 75 free connection authentications. No credit card required.
- Paid accounts cost $5 USD per year, billed annually.
- Payment is accepted via Stripe (credit card) and Bitcoin Lightning Network.
- No refunds after activation. The trial exists so you can verify the service works before paying.
Service availability
jump443 is operated as a best-effort service by a solo developer. There is no SLA. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or due to infrastructure issues.
If the service is discontinued, active paid accounts will be refunded for unused time (prorated monthly).
Liability
jump443 is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for:
- Downtime or connection failures
- Data loss resulting from service interruption
- Consequences of using the service in violation of your employer's policies
- Actions taken by destination server owners based on connection log data we share with them
Changes
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be announced via the management banner shown when you connect. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
