What we collect

Account data

When you register, we store:

• Your email address
• Your SSH public key(s) and their fingerprints
• Your configured destination hosts (hostnames/IPs)
• Account status and creation date

Connection logs

Every authentication to the jump443 SSH service is logged. Each log entry contains:

• Timestamp
• Your user identity
• Source IP address
• Connection type (tunnel or management command)

We do not log the content of your SSH tunnels. Tunnel traffic is end-to-end encrypted between your client and your destination — jump443 cannot read it.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe (credit card) or via Bitcoin Lightning Network. We store a transaction reference and amount. We do not store credit card numbers — Stripe handles that.

What we do not collect

• Tunnel content (we can't — it's encrypted end-to-end)
• Passwords (there are none — key-only auth)
• Private keys (we never see them)
• Browser cookies or tracking data (this site has no JavaScript trackers, no analytics, no cookies)

How we use your data

• Authentication: your public key fingerprint is matched against our database on every connection.
• Access control: your destination hosts determine which servers you can tunnel to.
• Abuse prevention: connection logs let us detect and respond to misuse.
• Billing: your email and payment records manage your subscription.

Who we share data with

We share data in these cases:

• Law enforcement: we cooperate with valid legal requests (court orders, subpoenas) from jurisdictions where we operate.
• Destination server owners: if the owner of a destination server reports abuse originating from jump443, we will share connection logs relevant to their server.
• Payment processors: Stripe receives the data necessary to process your payment.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for profiling.

Data retention

• Account data: retained while your account exists. Deleted when you request account deletion.
• Connection logs: retained for 12 months, then automatically purged.
• Payment records: retained for 7 years (accounting requirements).

You can request a copy of all data we hold about you, or request deletion of your account and associated data. Contact us at the email below.
